Money Can Buy Happiness Infographic

This infographic is a presentation on why money can buy you happiness. The goal was to show the audience through scientific research, surveys, and the wants of people today that money is a huge key. Money can buy you happiness because having the privilege to obtain and have hands on large amounts of money can give financial stability which can lower stress, give the ability to donate to others which is proven to make yourself feel better, allow others to pay for time which is one of the top wants of a human shown in recent studies. Money can not only allow a person to buy what they want, but it can help people to buy things that give them happiness. 

Reflection
For Contemporary Literature class we were assigned to choose a topic and debate it versus another student. My partner and I chose this topic because it was an easy way to argue both sides and we both had opposing opinions in a way. I chose this side of the argument because I believed it was the easiest to win and because my partner wanted to argue the point that money cannot buy happiness. 

While researching it was hard to find articles and research on this because there was a lot of websites that contained the opposite of what I was looking for. I think that it was fairly easy to stay focused because I wanted to complete the assignment and did not want to get sidetracked. Although while conducting my research it was hard to remain biased because I support both views on this topic.

I chose the template that is my infographic because I believed that it would be the easiest way to show data, and it has a good layout for what I wanted to present. I liked all of the fonts, colors, and layout options that the template possessed and I did not really change much besides adding and deleting pictures or changing font sizes. I made all of the choices I made so that it would be a clean and easy way of understanding the information and presenting it. 

Yes, I think that it will do a good job of convincing the audience that money can buy happiness because it presents facts, scientific research, and it persuades the audience that this side is better than the other. I look forward to presenting and hopefully winning the debate.

My previous experiences with English classes have been pretty positive. My Freshman year coming into UofD Jesuit I was not a huge fan of English but that all quickly changed. My teacher was Mr. Davidson and he offered a new way of learning English in a fun environment. He taught me new ways to write essays, read books, and to become more enhanced with English. Poster Proposal

I have chosen to do a poster campaign to encourage fellow students to read more. I chose the poster campaign because I think that it is the best way for others to see how many people read and what reading can do for you. Students will easily see posters everyday when walking through the halls and the visual can inspire and encourage others to read.
